ALUWOOD WINDOWS LTD, manufacturer of aluminium clad timber windows, is featuring its aluclad window system, aiming to demonstrate to joiners and fabricators why aluminium timber composite windows are growing in popularity.

A report by Palmer Market Research on wood windows and the aluminium timber window market recognised the growing popularity of aluminium timber composite windows. The report puts the value of the market at £77 million, predicting further growth over the next 3 years.

“Joiners and fabricators tell us that they are looking for alternative window and door systems that are popular with homeowners, and the aluminium timber composite market is certainly growing,” said Commercial Director Callum Grant.

“The AluWood system blends the beautiful natural look of timber on the inside with the strength, low maintenance and modern look of aluminium on the outside. The system is easy to manufacture and install, and can be used for top or side hung, as well as fully reversible windows.”

Performance tested to PAS24 and available in double or triple glazing, the aluminium finish on the AluWood windows system can be sprayed with any RAL colour and the timber is sourced from suitable sources to help protect the environment.
