On-site cill

EMPLAS is launching a new clip-on cill option for  its AluK-based F82 Aluminium Bi-folding Door, aimed at eliminating the risk of damage during installation and while other trades are still on site.

Sales and marketing director John Leary explained: “Cills can easily be damaged or scratch during installation, so fitting it after the door has gone in, or after other trades have finished on site if it’s a new build or extension, is simple logic. That’s important as the volume of aluminium bi-folds going into new build increases.

“Being able to fit cills after plumber, electricians, plasterers and renders or scaffolders have left the site is a massive advantage, as is the flexibility to remove a cill if damaged without having to take out the complete door.” 

The cill is available in four options: 95mm, 150mm, 190mm and 225mm.
